Digital Ad Alliance Icon Self-Reg Plan a Failure/FTC Must Reject it as Inadequate and Deceptive
Submitted by demedia on Thu, 10/06/2011 - 14:22We have conducted a review of the Digital Ad Alliance self-regulatory system, as part of our upcoming press club event on privacy with FTC Chairman Leibowitz. It has been so poorly designed that one wonders whether the groups--IAB, ANA, AAAA, DMA, etc--deliberately developed a system to foster the further growth of the personalized digital data collection system.
